About Ross-on-Wye Canoe Hire - The Canoe Hire Company

We are a small family team offering a personnel friendly service. Our aim is to provide a canoe trip for you to enjoy and meet your exact requirements, from the person who may never have canoed before to the experienced canoeists in need of a fresh challenge.

Our regular trips run from a 1/2 day paddle up to 4 day canoeing holidays.

We are always happy to advise you on your journey from Picnic areas, Pubs / eating houses to Campsites / B&B's all within walking distance of the river and named on our website.

Depending on the journey you choose, we collect and transport you up river by mini bus to your launching point. Once there one of the team will give a short talk on how to get the best from your trip, ... from River Safety, Canoe tips and Paddling techniques, and what to look out for.

Our Open Canadian Canoes are "Old Town" a particularly safe canoe with flat bottoms. They are sturdy and versatile, capable of carrying 2 to 4 adults, as well as your kit - all that you might require for your trip - from picnics to camping equipment, etc.

Canoeing wise, we supply all you need, from - 2,3,4 Man Canoes, Paddles, Buoyancy Aids, Waterproof Barrels or Dry bags. (Everything included in the prices shown.)
